Marty Cravens, Sergeant of Patrol

Sgt. Craven begin his employment with the Toombs County Sheriff's Department Jan. 6th, 2006 as a jailer at the Toombs County Detention Center. He later transferred to the Sheriff's Office as a Deputy and was promoted to Sergeant on June 9th,2012.

 

Mann Denmark, Sergeant of Patrol

Sergeant Mann Denmark begin his career with the Toombs County Sheriff's Office in 1998 and was promoted to sergeant in 2007.

 

Wallace Thompson, Sergeant of Patrol

Sergeant Wallace Thompson began his career with the Toombs County Detention Center in September, 1989. He transferred to the Toombs County Sherff's Office in 1992 and was promoted to Sergeant in 1999. 

 

Wendell Beaslley, Sergeant of Patrol

Sergeant Beasley began his employment with the Toombs County Detention Center as a Jailer, October 13, 1999. He became a Deputy with the Toombs County Sheriff's Office December, 2001 and was promoted to Sergeant in January, 2007. 

 

Terry Smith, Magistrate Court Deputy 

Sergeant Smith began his career with the Toombs County Sheriff's Office March 2001 as a Deputy. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2003. He was later assigned to Team Leader of the Volunteer Mounted Patrol. He is currently assigned to Magistrate Court.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER:

Skipper Smith, Environmental Officer

Skipper Smith began his law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff with the Toombs County Sheriff's Office in December 2002 after graduating from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah Georgia. Shortly after graduation he was assigned to the Courthouse as Security and was later promoted to Environmental Compliance Officer in 2003. In 2006 he was assigned as Code Enforcement Officer along with his duties as Environmental Compliance. Skipper's duties include enforcing any environmental violations. all county ordinances and 911 addressing for Toombs County. Skipper was also a member of the Mounted Patrol and assisted during the G 8 Summit that was held in Savannah, GA in 2004. Deputy Skipper Smith can be reached at 912-526-6778.
