Steven Gress, 35, faces first-degree murder and kidnapping charges after allegedly torturing and killing 16-year-old Miranda Corsette, whom he met via the Grindr app. Authorities report that Corsette endured daily beatings for a week before being suffocated. Her dismembered body was discovered in Ruskin, Florida. Gress, his girlfriend Michelle Brandes, and a roommate are implicated, with prosecutors seeking the death penalty. ​
 

House Where Murdered Girl's Body Was Found Catches Fire


On April 19, 2025, the abandoned Toledo, Ohio, house where 13-year-old Kei'Mani Latigue's body was discovered last month caught fire in a suspected arson.
